Kidspace is a treasure chest for children. The Physics Forest and Imagination Workshop are great places to stimulate your child’s curiosity and problem-solving skills. There are several areas, including an enclosed room for early crawlers.Every day, there is music time and reading time. And depending on who is readying the books might be in English, Spanish, and occasionally French. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help or make suggestions. The first Tuesday of every month is Free Family Night. Where families can come for free from 4pm to 8pm.If you are looking for the ‘perfect gift’ for a parent with a child over the age of 1 who lives near Pasadena, consider giving them a 6 month membership. This is the only gift I buy for parents of small children.

For a child to really enjoy this place, they should be at least four. Any younger, and you’re better off going to a park (for free). But kids four and up will have a blast, especially if they’re into bugs and nature. Make sure you bring a change of clothes because they’ll probably get wet.

Me and my kid loved it. I had to finally just take him out of the Museum because he didn’t want to leave. It was a day well spent. All of the kids there seemed to be having a great time. Would definitely go again.
