We went here our last day in Kauai on our honeymoon in October. My husband and I agree that after a 12 day adventure of hopping the islands, the day we took the rafting tour was the best day of the entire trip! Shawn and Jake were awesome and new a lot about the history of the island. They were very personable too and made the trip even better.

when preparation meets opportunity: in a late November trip we saw a small group of humpback whales, then a few turtles (normal) and then, while snorkeling, a large pod of spinner dolphins swam through us. The dolphins were about twelve feet away… all 50 to 60 of them. unbelievable!!!

Horrible rude and highly drugged out office staff.Would have been a good tour only they did not tell us about 8 foot swells on the way back. I think they should have canceled the trip but they were greedy. My 8 year old daughter almost fell off the boat as we went into some very major swells. A professional captain would have made small children sit in back of the boat.Everyone came off the boat feeling beat up and knocked around. And not in a fun way.Not only that but they gave away my wife’s vegetarian sandwich to someone else and wanted her to eat some meat sandwich.Pro – Scenery is awesome.Con- Dangerous and unprofessional. Also hurried as they shuttle different groups to the beach landing.

Kauai Sea Tours is great. Sailing up the coast is absolutely amazing. We saw Spinner Dolphins, and a couple whales in the distant. The members of the boat crew are very friendly and helpful (not overbearing). We did the sunset cruise on Dec. 23, 2013. It is not a calm boat ride. It is bumpy and you will get splashed a little if you are on deck while the boat is speeding. If you are at the front of the boat while it is speeding, you will get soaked. Some people loved that some people didn’t, but those he didn’t want to get soaked moved to the rear of the boat or went inside the food and beverage area. The food they serve is not 5 star hotel food but it is quite delicious. The appetizers are good and the dinner wasn’t very tasty but palatable. Don’t go expecting some gourmet dinner. They also served canned beverages (pepsi, ginger ale, juice, etc), beer, and mai tais (alcoholic).I had a great experience and would recommend it! Would definitely do it again next time I am in Kauai.
