Science really CAN be fun, and when you visit a museum like Impression 5, which is ALL about kids play, you can see why!
Impression 5 is a kids museum that is dedicated to teaching kids about science, and making it fun to learn. They do this through a number of hands-on and interactive exhibits that focus on the five senses.
Each exhibit allows kids to play and learn in a different way, and allows them to develop skills and knowledge - all in the name of science! During their visit at Impression 5, kids can follow their own pathways, and learn in their own time. Every child has a different learning style, and so this is harnessed!
Kids can take a deeper look into their mouths, with Chew On This! They can get up close to REAL teeth under a microscope, and even learn how food affects the teach. And invaluable lesson!
Electromagnetic spectrums are part of another exhibit, where different lenses, prisms and mirrors all meet to create a colorful masterpiece. Perhaps it's the world that you CAN'T see that kids will love to explore! Nano introduces the real world and technology so kids can play with magnetic materials, compare levels of static electricity and even build a giant model of a carbon nanotube! Amazing!
There are exhibits about nature, exhibits where those engineers can build structures, play with bubbles or even make their own music - it's all at Impression 5!
So why not bring the kids down for a fun day of science at this Michigan museum, and yes - science IS fun!
