Who's ready for a bit of river adventure? We certainly are!

River Town Adventures in Lansing are the perfect way to experience the city from another point of view...the river!

Kayaking and canoeing is great for active kids to get out into that fresh air and take on a challenge. You can add some excitement into your family day out, or just take it easy and enjoy a relaxing experience out on the water.

You can see nature and wildlife without having the leave the city!

River Town Adventures offer a number of tours and experiences that the whole family can enjoy. If you want to take to the waters at your own pace, you can hire kayaks, paddle boards or canoes/tandem kayaks by the house. Then you can just paddle downtown, or around Moores Park.

If you want to try something a little further, the team can shuttle you to Kruger Landing and you can spend 2-2.5 hours making your way back to the market.

Feeling like you might want something a little more challenging? How about taking on the Grand River Adventures?

Journeys from 3 to 6 hours can be arranged, where the team can shuttle you to places as far away as Old Town or Jaycee Park Grand Ledge. 

These daily adventures are perfect for the family to spend some time together, and the younger kids can enjoy some adventures where they can really challenge themselves.

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at River Town Adventures?

It's best to bring some healthy snacks and water with you so you can keep your energy up

Any top tips when visiting?

Take a small backpack - ideally waterproofed - and keep any valuables in a waterproof or plastic bag. Ziplock bags are idea

Does River Town Adventures have a gift shop?

They have a party bus which might be fun for a teenagers birthday party to hire out.

Is River Town Adventures fully accessible?

You would need to be able to power a kayak or canoe with your upper body strength.
