Not the 9.0 rated park given by Woodalls. Clean but very close to the railroad tracks and train whistles entering Dodge City. We made reservations for two nights but saw everything in the area after setting up and decided to cancel the 2nd night. No refunds, in no uncertain terms. They were only 1/2 full and the front desk was pretty rude. Kind of disappointed in the whole Dodge City experience and wished we would have just stopped for a few hours and parked at the Visitors Center in town.

While sites are a bit small in the “front” area the owners only fill every other one so you have plenty of room. They also try in every other regard to be accommodating. Laundry and restrooms very clean. Excellent choice for a visit to Dodge City

This is a great park. We’re here in a 5th wheel and have 2 dogs. Great places for taking them around. We always keep our dogs on a leash where ever we go and also clean their poop up as we don’t like stepping in it and that is a requirement of all parks( or anyway good ones) Also the leash thing is just common sense. It’s a great location to stores, casino, and other places of interest. The facilities are very adequate. We also found the owners very friendly and helpful.. The cable tv, and internet work better than almost all of the other parks we have been in which for us is a big plus.

Campground is separated into 2 sections; a roadside gravel parking lot and a nicer looking section in the back. Owners would not let me have a place for my 31′ RV in the back where there is actual grass and a little more space even after I offered to pay double! Dodge City was a huge letdown anyway. I was expecting a little better experience. I would have rather stayed at the Hampton Inn.

Owners were extremely rude! When we tried to make a reservation they said they would not guarantee our 2 parties would be together. We told them that we had an injured child that we were carry for but it made no differnce to them. When we arrived another motor home was parked in front of us and we did not see the sign that stated the rules. We were traveling with our dog who proceeded to escape from motor home and ran to us. We were looking at the pool and then proceeded to the office in which we were told to leave that we were trespassing because our dog was not on a leash.
