About this activity

Danndee Flowers is a unique and charming agritourism destination just outside of Aledo, IL.

There are a variety of attractions and activities on the farm in addition to wonderful events hosted throughout the season.

Our 2022 season runs from July 16 - September 5. 2023 season is TBA.

Below is a list of what you can do during your visit to our farm!

  • Pack a picnic and bring the family for a day on our beautiful u-pick sunflower farm!
  • Baskets and clippers are available for you to borrow so you can create your own bouquet from our 12 varieties of sunflowers and 12 other types of cut flowers. Stems are priced between $0.25 and $2 apiece, making it a very affordable agricultural activity!
  • Visit our flower bar in the country store after cutting your flowers, to choose the perfect vase and trimmings to finish your bouquet.
  • Explore our educational corn maze. This year, we partnered with Illinois Pork Producers Association and the shape of the maze is a butcher's chart, with many fun fact signs throughout!
  • Rest in the adirondacks while the kids play on our farm-themed playground.
  • Shop our country store for souvenirs and gifts all made, raised, or grown, here in Mercer County.
  • Kayak on our tranquil pond. $15/hour
