World famous Coney Island in New York is everything you would expect it to be!

This year-round family destination is SO full of thing things to do, both historic and new, that you will be challenged to fit everything in within the day!

Coney Island really was the birthplace of amusement parks, and has been a staple of the New York coast since 1880. Yes, it's history goes that far back! The boardwalk was introduced in 1923, and since then, roller coasters, iconic feed vendors, carousels, sideshows, and aquarium and even a theme park has popped up, ready for families just like yours to enjoy them!

Most popular in the summertime, Coney Island has something for everyone with 3 miles of coast offering plenty to do, not to mention the sandy white beaches and sparkling ocean waters!

Some of the attractions you can find is a historic carousel, and an ice skating arena that's perfect to take the edge off that glorious sunshine. There are go-karts and mini golf perfect to challenge, a museum all about the history, and even a film festival!

Make sure you take a ride on that iconic Ferris Wheel too, and if you want something more thrilling, the Thunderbolt Roller Coaster is ready and waiting, as is the Parachute Jump!

So pack those towels and hats, and plenty of sunscreen, because Coney Island is waiting!
