About this activity

It's all about the wonderful world of art at the Charles H MacNider Art Museum, ensuring everything they do is educational or aesthetic in nature, centering around working with objects of art.

Sounds pretty cool to us!

This Iowa art museum exhibits a permanent collection of American art, as well as features temporary exhibitions of art, so there is always something to go back to on your next visit!

The exhibits not only feature painting, but a host of other genres of art including ceramics, sculpture, glass, textiles, prints and drawings!

In addition, they also offer art classes for all ages if those little ones are inspired by what they are seeing, and want to produce their own masterpiece, and there are also enriching art programs too.

If THAT wasn't enough, the Charles H MacNider Art Museum also run a Kids' Club - an activity-based exploration of the visual arts and the treasures of the museum geared towards children ages 5 through 12!

So are you ready for an art-tastic day out in Iowa, and head to this family friendly art museum to learn about all things art - and so much more!
