What is there to do?

At The Blandford Nature Center families can visit a variety of animals and reptiles, join the Youth Farm Team program, start their own patch to grow in the community gardens and learn about all things natural.

Over 4 miles of outdoor trails guide you through a variety of microcosmic ecosystems, they vary in length and difficulty so it's easy to choose which suits your group. The Nature Nook play area offers a rustic, natural play experience with seating for adults provided.

Additional features include Summer Day Camps, Outdoor Education Programs and Wildlife Sleepover Program. There is also a pioneer village with historically recreated buildings like the blacksmith's and schoolhouse, but these are infrequently open to the public so check ahead for open days.

When can we go?

Interpretive center is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, and Saturday from 12 noon to 5pm.
