Kids - are you over 7 years and want to challenge yourselves up in the tree tops? You know you do!
We don't mean climbing trees...we mean enjoying Adventure Park at Long Island where you can get up in the canopy to take on the rope bridges and zip lines to get you to the end of the course.
Adventure Park at Long Island is 7 acres of aerial forest fun, where your whole family can have adventure in the trees!
When you arrive, just look up! There, you will see a series of platforms all through the trees, and all connected by cable, rope, and wood bridges, as well as zip lines. This is what you have to navigate to get across and complete the course!
Don't worry - you don't have to be Tarzan to make it across. Each of the trails are color-coded to their degree of difficulty, so you can be sure to start on the one that is more suited to you. They have beginner (an easy course and low to the ground), right through to advanced (you guessed it...the most challenging!)
The team at Adventure Park will brief you with everything you need to know about the safety before you start, so you know you will be in good hands, and confident with what you are about to take on.
You will always be "locked-on" with their double connected climbing system - so look down as much as you like - you will be safe!
The great thing about these courses is they build kids confidence, as well as develop their skills, balance, and problem solving skills. Plus, they always feel great when they complete one level and move up to the next! Plus, you can enjoy it as a family. How great is that!

There is a small Adventure Store where you can get hot and cold drinks, as well as snacks.
Any top tips when visiting?
Make sure you wear fitted clothes where nothing can get caught in the cables and ropes. Don't forget to tie your hair back either!
Does Adventure Park at Long Island have a gift shop?
The Adventure Store sells souvenirs where you can pick up something fun to remind you of your day!
Teachers corner
It's great for students to attend for team building and confidence building. Groups over 10 get a discount, but spaces fill up quickly so call ahead!

Feel free to bring your own food and drink! Water is always good, as are snacks that will keep that energy up
