Even though I am writing the review after visiting it after a couple of months. But the feeling is yet to sink in. The view is so dead awesome. Please make sure that you visit it on a day with bright sunlight. I fully agree with the fellow reviewers, this view is so much better than the one experiences at Willis Tower.Secret : The elevator is so damm fast, it just takes you at the deck in a very short span of time.

John Hancock Building provides a beautiful scenic view of downtown Chicago and Lake Michigan. We visited the bar on the 96th floor on a warm September day. I went to the Ladies Room which had floor to ceiling picture window overseeing downtown Chicago. Every woman was surprisingly delighted by the view. We all stopped to take photos. I have never seen anything like it.

Obviously it is one of the Chicago’s iconic building. You must do the view from 95th floor and up. You can buy cocktails from the lounge and enjoy the awesome view. They have pretty decent retail stores to check out- first floor: my favorite shoes store. they carry only comfortable shoes…some styles are for old ladies…but if you are looking for a comfortable shoes, this is the place to go- they also have zipcar parking lot on 7 and 8th floor- ground floor has postoffice, UPS drop box, cheesecake factory, coffee/sandwich shop…etcYou should check all the stores.
