Located on a stunning 37-acre site, the adorable and charming to visit Bath City Farm is a charitable organisation that offers education, training and therapeutic activities to those within the local community, PLUS they offer free admission to a number of attractions perfect for families and kids!
As you enjoy the amazing over Bath you can spend your time within the community cafe and shop, and kids always love to go and visit the adorable farm animals too!
For those kids with a bit of extra energy, head on over to the children’s playground, or take to the woodland and nature trails and enjoy a day of exploring!
From toddlers under 5 to children, as well as young people up to 16 they have something for you! A visit to Bath City Farm is the perfect way to get closer to nature with their fun activities and games.
Whilst admission is free donations are very welcome and you will be supporting the charity!
If you want to, you can also get involved with their volunteer teams, or join one of our therapeutic well-being groups. They also offer specialist groups for adults with additional needs so they really are a place for everyone.
They advise avoiding driving - either walk, cycle or use public transport where possible. They do have a small car park, which can quickly become full. If parking on the streets please be mindful of their neighbours.
The nearest train station is Oldfield Park. Trains travelling from Bath Spa to Bristol stop via Oldfield Park and from there we are a 20 minute walk

The whole farm is a charitable organisation that supports and gives back to the local community!
There are baby changing facilities available in the women’s toilets in the main building.
The cafe is a lovely place to have a break! Here you can pick up delicious breakfasts all day, as well as tasty lunches from 12 pm to 2 pm, plus coffees, teas, cold drinks and yummy cakes.
If you want to feed the animals, make sure you only feed them with food that you have brought on-site at the Farm – they sell goat feed for £1 a bag which their Pygmy goats love! Do not feed them human food.
They have a Farm Shop where you can pick up some of the local produce they grow on the farm! It's a great way to enjoy healthy foods and it supports the charity!
The school visits run through all seasons, and with 37 acres of land bursting with over 770 species, there is always something new to learn! They are able to offer hands-on sessions for Early Years, and Key Stages 1, 2 and 3.
School visits are available on Tuesday and a Thursdays.

The farm is partially accessible by wheelchair, with step-free access to the main buildings, toilets, some animal enclosures and the cafe shelter
The cafe is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet.
They have a disabled parking space available to Blue Badge holders, which are to the side of the main building. There is a disabled drop off point in front of the main building.
