About The Childrens Art Factory
It's SO much fun when you can spend a day being creative, and at the Children's Art Factory in Ontario, that's exactly what kind of family day out they want you to have! Perfect for toddlers, pre-schoolers and those in kindergarten, they focus on the process of art - not the product at the end of it!
They have created activities that are open-ended, and child-led. They love to explore many different types of art, and keep changing the themes weekly to keep things fun and interesting! Creativity is important, so focus on imagination-based play, and messy art is always emphasized. After all, that's what art is all about, isn't it!?
The Children's Art Factory also have costumes, and puppet theater which is great for the kids imagination, plus stages with microphones and craft tables too!
Over summer, they love having drop ins across the day.
They also offer the Peanut Gallery Collective, which is an art and craft makers club for those aged 5 to 10 years! This weekly drop off program runs throughout the school year, and focuses on art, with small take home projects and bigger projects like public performances!
Art fun all around at this fun Canadian art factory where kids can just be themselves, and express themselves!

Worth taking a change of clothes and don't put them in their best. Make sure they don't wear shoes or bare feet in the studio either, just socks

Teachers corner
It's a great place for classes to visit! They are geared towards K-2, and can offer a 2 hr visit for one class, or two smaller classes. Great art fun!
