What is there to do?

Situated on a stunning 117 acre site which includes the environmental sensitive Kossuth Bog, the 25,000 square foot Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is ready to give you a colorful, educational and fun family day out!

The feature of the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is the 10,800 sq ft indoor tropical garden that features 1000’s of free flying butterflies from all over the world!

It's almost quite magical being in there! As well as our fluttery friends, you can also see over 100 different varieties of tropical plants, as well as beautiful waterfalls, trickling streams, gorgeous reflecting pools, tropical finches, and even a Chinese painted quail and red-eared slider turtles!

Over summer, the conservatory offers daily guided tours and children's programming across July and August, all of which are FREE with regular admission! Kids might take part in an outdoor bug hunt, or a scavenger hunt in the conservatory.

The guided tours give you a great insight into the butterflies, animals and gardens, and are the perfect place to ask any questions you may have!

Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is a great place for families of all ages, what better way to spend that family day out than surrounded by thousands of colorful new friends!
