The Railway Coastal Museum has educational programs that provide an exciting and informative experience for students while they learn about the history of the railway and coastal boat service in Newfoundland. These programs vary in length from one to two hours and we not only give a tour of the museum, but also curriculum based learning activities for your students.

The program varies based on grade level to provide the best experience for the students and teachers that visit us. Some of the activities include a scavenger hunt (Grade 8 and 9), a timeline puzzle (Grade 3 and 4), analyzing artifacts from the past (Grade 6 and 7), and creating advertisements for the railway (Grade 1 and 2), just to name a few.
