White peter is a cool guy, Lisa needs to keep rude comments to herself.Great camp if you want to see wolves and get swarmed by huskies for fun.

Beautiful Forest and area. Visited Haliburton Forest for the first time in the fall season. Camped on the waterfront campground with “real” nature sounds in the background. Wolf howls, loons and what you would expect from being in the middle of nature. Went on the “walk in the clouds” treetop trek tour and loved it. Some great views in the treetops of surrounding area. Had the opportunity to meet the Husky dogsled team and their high energy and enthusiasm. We stayed in one of the cabins the last night and it was very nice accommodations. I would highly recommend a weekend experience or vacation at Haliburton Forest. Not to mention the Wolf Centre where we witnessed an actual howling session from the wolves. There is quite a bit to do that I have not mentioned including mountain biking which is next on the agenda next time I visit. Had a great time at Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve.

Im from toronto and the drive there was a little long(3 hours) but man was it worth it. Our camp spot was right by the lake, as most of them are, and surrounded by a forest. It truly felt like the great outdoors and the lake was absolutely GORGEOUS. The people there are really nice and trustworthy. I can’t say enough good things about this place and I fully recommend it to anyone thinking of camping
