Lions…Tigers…and Bears…..too scary? How about goats, piglets and lambs?

Throw in some fun hayrides, pumpkin patches, and corn mazes, and you have those good old American farms which are an incredible time for kids and their families!

Taking the kids to a farm in the USA is so much more than just a working farm. It’s a full day out of magic, excitement, and yes - even education

Kids can spend the day enjoying the sweet petting zoo, where they can play with all the very sweet animals - including babies! It’s a way for kids to learn about all the different animals, their natures, and most importantly, they learn a respect for the animals and learn that they should take care of them. They learn responsibility!

There is also SO much more to do on these beautiful farms, with activities and kids' fun jam-packed into their many acres.

At Bloomsbury Farm kids get to enjoy an amazing zip line, which will take them on a 1200 foot round trip, 50 feet off the ground! There is also a super fun jumping pillow, 17 acres of pumpkins, and TWO corn mazes!

The sweet Minnesota A Maze’n’ Farm lets kids enjoy a 150-foot long slide, a 20,000 square foot maze, and 5 inflatable bouncers in their bounce barn! There are also pony rides, super fun mini-golf, and the fun alternative to a sandbox - the corn pit!

Adams Farm in the very scenic Vermont lets kids not only try lots of fresh produce grown on the farm (and they can learn where their food comes from!), but they can have a great time on the wagon rides, or try their skills catching Rainbow Trout in their private stocked pond. They can even try milk and goat or herd some sheep!

Most of the farms across the country are seasonal and are often summer and fall attractions. They are, however, also great at seasonal activities, so if you are looking for something to do at Halloween, they are the place to be! Some farms really go out of their way to create an amazingly SPOOKY atmosphere - and some even have haunted houses!

So if you have always thought farms were loud, smelly places filled with mud - think again! Farms are a wonderful experience for kids and adults alike. They go out of their way to create beautiful and memorable experiences for kids, filled with kids' fun, entertainment, and of course - cute animals!

Enjoy!
