Welcome to the Three Rivers Avian Center! Nestled in the scenic beauty of the New River Gorge in West Virginia, this unique center is a haven for bird enthusiasts and families alike. Every first Saturday of the month, from May through October, the center opens its doors for free public tours. These tours provide a behind-the-scenes look at the tireless work the center does to rescue, rehabilitate, and release wild birds. During your visit, you’ll discover how the center has successfully re-established peregrine falcon populations and treated over 110 native bird species. The passionate staff and volunteers are eager to share their knowledge and stories, making it a truly enriching experience for both kids and adults.
