Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No....it's those excitable and active kids over 7 years having the time of their life taking on a treetop adventure at Adventure Park at Storrs! This fun Connecticut adventure playground is perfect for families to challenge themselves, keep healthy and fit, and have a great time trying to tackle the treetop adventure that is waiting for them!
Adventure Park at Storrs is an aerial forest adventure which is fun, exciting, and most importantly, safe for the whole family. They provide you with the harness and the equipment, as well as a safety talk, so all you need to do is come with a great attitude and lots of energy! The park features five separate trails, each of varying difficulty levels. Each trail includes two zip lines and a host of "bridges" that will take you between tree platforms.
The bridges are made up of wood, cable, and rope, which will certainly build confidence as you make your way across each one! Adventure Park at Storrs is great for kids as the course builds their confidence, helps them develop skills, and builds their endurance. There are always staff members on duty keeping an eye out, so you don't have to worry if you haven't done this kind of challenge before.
Start with a low-difficulty course and work your way up...it's amazing to see the progression and the smiles when kids realize they can complete a course that they once couldn't! If you want something a bit more special, then check out their evening sessions where you can climb through the LED lit forest - you have just enough light to climb, but you can still really enjoy the magic of the forest!
