The Wildlife Waystation, situated on 160 acres in California’s Angeles National Forest, is internationally recognized for its ongoing, charitable efforts to rescue and rehabilitate wild and exotic animals, and YOU can experience it too!
To visit the Wildlife Waystation, you need to be a member, and all that means is you donate money per year to the sanctuary, or adopt an animal – either way, you are helping the animals well-being and running of this great experience!
The member-only tours of Wildlife Waystation are offered every other Sunday, weather-permitting. This enables you to experience about 3 hours of animal fun, including a walkthrough some of the facility along with a presentation which talks about their history, mission, and plans for the future. A great learning experience for kids!
The animals at the waystation range from the big, the large, the weird and the wonderful. Kids can meet adorable burros, amazing bears, cute bobcats, unusual lemurs, spotted leopards, grand African lions, to the cheeky pot bellied pigs. They are home to mammals, birds, and reptiles, and all creatures great and small are ready to be introduced to you.
The presentation may also include an educational Q&A with some of our animals too, so if kids have any questions, it’s the perfect place!
Throughout the year too, they even have amazing events which kids will love, such as concerts to raise money for the animals!
A beautiful experience where your visit will directly help these amazing animals have a happy and loving home. A family day out with meaning!
