Good value for the money. Night front desk clerk Richard has great customer service skills assisting evening travelers who saw this hotel online while driving. Hotel was clean and cheerful. Friendly bartender Margaret at Sigee’s grill and bar was great recommending a late dinner pot roast special to tired travelers along with a few drinks. The complimentary hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy is better than many hotels that only feature a cold continental breakfast

Talk about bang for your buck! Great room for the price, new carpet, very roomy, flat screen, lots of hotel extras you wouldnt expect for $50 a night.

There is a charge on my personal credit card from this hotel when i never had any plan to go there. Their manager, Robert Hieneman, first told me that my card was not charged. When i said it was on my statement he said it is not their problem as “someone booked a room” using my credit card and it is a “no show” charge, and he has “a confirmation number”. When I asked for the number he told me that it was on his desk and he wasn’t at his desk. The worst in customer service with a snarky attitude!

Old dated property. Has a old smell and whatever cleaner they use is just not right. Drywall was peeling and carpet needs to be upgraded. They did have flatscreen TV but on furniture from 1980. The best thing is it was 5 minutes from the Thoroughbred Center which is where my event was. Breakfast was free but still should have been served WARM. Not a disaster but just not as good as advertised at all.

When I Ordered room service, food was cold, also took the food over an hour to arrive. Also the drink I ordered at the bar was made wrong. I wouldn’t recommend.
