A visit to the unique USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park unfolds the story of the submarine, and her time in action - as well as lifts the lid on those men & women who worked in and around her.
The museum in the complex features indoor and outdoor exhibits, and plenty of things to do for kids too!
Visit the Waterfront Memorial, dedicated to the 52 submarine and over 3,500 officers and crewmen lost during WWII. You can see a nuclear armed turbo jet up close - the Regulus I, and see real life torpedoes too!
Once inside the museum, you can explore a number of historic artifacts from the USS Bowfin herself, including the iconic bell, and check out a range of battleflags of submarines that fought in the Pacific.
For the kids ages 5 to 16, the museum also offers a Junior Submarine Program, with age appropriate worksheets for them to fill out - and when they do correctly, they get an iron-on patch!

If you have up to 6 people in your group you can book the two-hour tour of the museum and submarine guided by a former Commanding Officer of a U. S. Navy Submarine! The unique insights that only a former submarine Commanding Officer can provide make this a truly special and memorable tour!
