What is there to do?

Familydaysout was lucky enough to be invited to visit Universal Studios Hollywood and what a great day we had!

Universal Studios Hollywood is one of those experiences that is a must do in Los Angeles. It will completely immerse the family in the magic of the movies, and kids will get a real kick out of seeing all the special effects, and having an amazing time of the very fun rides!

As soon as you walk past the red carpet entry you know you are in for a treat! Those iconic Universal Studios Hollywood gates will take you into another world, and offer you experiences and thrills that you won't find anywhere else.

Ever spent your family day out with action heroes, or resurrected mummies? We didn't think so! Did you ever think you would be spending the day with roaring dinosaurs, or stepping into the shoes of Indiana Jones?

The excitement keeps going as you can explore the behind the scenes "Studio Tour" which gives you a unique opportunity to see the inside workings of one of the most elusive businesses - Hollywood Magic! It will take you through 415 acres of movie studio complexes with facades, soundstages, working sets and special effects attractions.

There is always something new to see and experience at Universal Studios Hollywood, and the new Minions Mayhem ride is the latest and most exciting thing for kids! It's an incredible simulator built in "Guru's house" and it takes you into the Minion training center where you are put through your paces to become a Minion yourself!  For those kids over 40" it's an amazing 3-D experience!

Universal Studios Hollywood is not only a movie based theme park, but it is also adjacent to Universal CityWalk shopping and dining, as well as CityWalk cinemas.
