I am a repeat customer and probably will continue to be but I must leave this poor rating this time in hopes that it draws the attention of the City of Davis, Oklahoma and gets some things remedied. The Falls were beautiful, the creek and pools were refreshing, the hiking on the mountain was challenging and fun, and the castle was, as always, fascinating. What was truly astounding though was how SHAMEFULLY DISGUSTING the bathrooms were. Luckily on both occasions, I only needed to change clothes and didn’t have to assault my backside with the actual use of the toilets. The first one I went to was by the pool under the waterfall. I could understand the mud on the floor. The building is surrounded by sandy dirt. What I couldn’t reconcile was the lumps of paper towels in the floor drains. They had obviously been there a while. They had the look of paper that had been soaked and dried repeatedly over days. Also the vending machines in the Waterfall area were running but locked up so you couldn’t buy drinks. Not a wise move when the temps are around 100 degrees F.The second experience was the bathhouse closest to the Blue Hole pool. Upon entering the ladies room the only stall available was the handicapped stall on the end. I opened the door and the only words I could bring forth were “Oh Dear GOD!”; to which the ladies in the other stalls said “I know, right!?!” There before me was a toilet which to the left of it had a pile of feces laden used toilet paper that was at least 3 feet high, maybe 4 feet. To the right of this stall there was similar toilet paper mounds about 8 inches high and joining up with the pile coming out of the next stall.I didn’t dare let my feet touch the ground. I stood on my empty shoes after slipping them off so that I could change my clothes and get out of there. You know, when a city is charging you $12 dollars a head to get into their park, they really should be keeping the bathrooms attended better than this.I’m giving this park a 2 stars instead of a 1 only because I have seen it in the off season and had no such problems even with port-a-johns then. Maybe yesterday was a bad day, but for $12 per person there shouldn’t be any bad days of this kind. They need to find some new staff that will do their job in this regard. The City of Davis, OK and Turner Falls Park should be ashamed of how they let their facilities be managed yesterday

A beautiful park, but VERY run down. The castle is neat, but in such disarray that I am a little surprised that no one has fallen off of the crumbled ramparts, or accidentally slipped and been skewered by the broken and exposed rebar. The paths are muddy, slippery and sometimes lead to unmarked cliffs. Handrails are loose and headed on their way down the slopes. The Blue Pool looks like it used to be a fun place for children, but now only the most careless of parents would ever let a child play there. This place looks like a ghost town it is so run down. The waterfall is pretty, and with how much they charge for entering the park, they should funnel some of that money into making the park safe instead of lining their own pockets. I bet this park was really something back before the city of Davis took over.
