Zoos & Wildlife

What is there to do?

If you want to explore amazing animals from all over the world, you don't even have to travel outside of Tulsa! Pretty amazing!

Tulsa Zoo is spread out over nearly 80 acres of beautiful exhibits and grounds, home to over 1500 animals. That's a lot of friends waiting to be made!

Over 430 species from all across the globe are represented in this popular Oklahoma zoo, so why don't you spend the day with the family exploring them!

At Tulsa Zoo, kids can explore the dramatic African Plains, or discover what makes Asia so special. They can learn what life is really like in the heat of the desert, and the depths of the rainforests.

Ocean life comes to life without you needing to get wet, and there is even an exhibit dedicated to those playful and curious primates too!

Have you ever wanted to come face to face with those grand lions, or watch those tall giraffes try and feed from the tree tops? Kids can also learn about conservation, and Asia's most endangered species including the Snow Leopards and Asian elephants - and invaluable lesson!

There are penguins to watch, and white rhinos to marvel at. You can even watch those American Alligator's get snappy!

For those kids who LOVE those hands on experiences, head to the Children's Zoo! Home to small mammals including guinea hogs, river otters, red kangaroos, and mini horses, kids can see these adorable creatures and get up close with small farm animals!

With train rides and a carousel to top off your animal-tastic day out, it's no wonder Tulsa Zoo is one of the most popular attractions in the city!
