Tulsa Zoo is spread out over nearly 80 acres of beautiful exhibits and grounds, home to over 1500 animals. That's a lot of friends waiting to be made!
Over 430 species from all across the globe are represented in this popular Oklahoma zoo, so why don't you spend the day with the family exploring them!
At Tulsa Zoo, kids can explore the dramatic African Plains, or discover what makes Asia so special. They can learn what life is really like in the heat of the desert, and the depths of the rainforests.
Ocean life comes to life without you needing to get wet, and there is even an exhibit dedicated to those playful and curious primates too!
Have you ever wanted to come face to face with those grand lions, or watch those tall giraffes try and feed from the tree tops? Kids can also learn about conservation, and Asia's most endangered species including the Snow Leopards and Asian elephants - and invaluable lesson!

For those kids who LOVE those hands on experiences, head to the Children's Zoo! Home to small mammals including guinea hogs, river otters, red kangaroos, and mini horses, kids can see these adorable creatures and get up close with small farm animals!

Look out for fun events throughout the year, including Breakfast with Santa, and Nature's Night Owls exhibits!
It's not just the animals that need feeding! There is a full service restaurant with everything from burgers to pizza, and a number of concession carts around the zoo with treats, including ice cream!
Healthy Eating You can bring your own food and drink if you want to bring your healthy favorites! No glass or alcohol though
The Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum is easily accesible from the Sheridan Road exits off of Highway 11 and I-244. The Tulsa Zoo is located in Mohawk Park just east of Sheridan Road on 36th Street North.
There is of course a gift shop - the Meerkat Market, where you can pick up zoo-themed merchandise for all tastes!
The zoo is accessible, and you can even rent wheelchairs for the day if you need!
