What is there to do?

Deep dive into the rich Kentucky history at the Thomas D Clark Center for Kentucky History!

Here, you can navigate a fascinating Kentucky Historical Society exhibit that shares Kentucky’s story from everyday life right through to the workings of the Commonwealth’s highest political office!

The Kentucky Journey exhibit continues to explore the state's history from bourbon to baseball bats, and from horse racing to sports cars. The family can take a 12,000-year “journey” from prehistoric times and learn how Kentucky came to be such an important and special part of the USA.

Here, kids can learn about the people that shaped Kentucky - from the free to the enslaved. They can learn all about how people furnished their homes to challenges that made locals question their beliefs. What challenging decisions could this have then led to?
