It's outdoor fun for kids with Savannah Children's Museum! This super fun outdoor museum features with over a dozen exhibits designed to expand the imaginations of children!

The museum was actually opened in 2012 as an adaptive reuse project in the old Central of Georgia Railway Carpentry Shop in downtown Savannah. This fun kids museum is entirely outdoors (so dress accordingly!), and is where kids can just be kids, with a host of fun things allowing them to be creative, active and inquisitive including an exploration maze, a fun reading nook and a beautiful sensory garden.

The expert educators at the Savannah Children's Museum also create fun daily programming so kids and families can learn while they play, which we love!

The Savannah Children's Museum's Exploration Station is a one-acre, two- level exhibit area, an is just perfect for those playful kids!
