What is there to do?

What do you think of when you hear the word museum? Art museums? History museums? Automobile museums? All filled with rare and wonderful objects?

Well the Portland Children's Museum is no different. In fact, it's filled with rare and wonderful objects all day long. Yep, YOU!

Instead of investing in collecting expensive objects from all over the world, they can filled with walls with fun exhibits and familiar materials that offer opportunities for kids can learn through play!

Each of the exhibits offer something different for kids, so they can explore, create, discover and learn across a range of skill sets and themes.

Playing with and touching exhibits is strongly encouraged throughout!

For the kids that turn everything into a hammer you have Building Bridgetown! A kiddie sized construction zone where those future builders can get creative!

Those imaginations can flow as kids play "mom and dad" and hit the market to buy the freshest produce, or they might be a restauranteur looking for their next dish!

Children's nurturing instincts can take the lead at the Pet Hospital where their love of animals can meet the joys of science, or for those who want a quiet spot to read, Treehouse Adventure is for them!

Creative kids can enjoy the Clay Studio where messy hands meet soaring imaginations, as kids create something wonderful through expression!

Also at Portland Children's Museum, kids can climb behind the wheel of an ambulance, explore gravity and currents, or get some outdoor adventure in their day as they reconnect with nature!

Explorative fun for both the children AND the adults in the family at this popular Portland children's museum, so why not get those imaginations ready and the creativity set, because playtime is here!
