Denver Equestrian Riding School is a gift to the community! The instructors, management and office staff combined have created a wonderful environment for many different levels of equestrians. School horses are outstanding and the staff does an excellent job of caring for their horses. The variety of program offerings allow for students to have a very well rounded experience.I would highly recommend DE!

I love riding at Denver Equestrians. All of the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a fun and enjoyable time. Very highly recommended! I’ve had some injuries riding horses in the past and they make sure I am riding with a trainer who makes me feel confident and a horse that I can handle. Love you guys!!

I am an experienced rider who has ridden at quite a few barns; and Denver Equestrians is my favorite and I would highly recommend it . Recently they have come under new management to take what was already a great facility to make it into the best facility, and with that there have been some major changes. I appreciate and agree with the way they are handling things, rather than prolonging the changes, they are making them happen as quickly and painlessly as possible, making the transition easy!Denver Equestrians is not your typical private boarding and riding facility; not only is it a boarding facility but it is also a riding school. As a riding school, there are many lessons held during regular hours, taking the students from beginner/intermediate to advanced show jumpers and dressage riders. They truly cater to those who wish to advance in their riding, and they do so by accommodating people with: exceptional trainers, horses, staff, and facility. The staff at Denver Equestrians are wonderful. The maintenance team does a fantastic job at managing the facility and its needs along with the horses’ needs. All of the horses get fed three times daily, and they are measured and weighed to ensure their weight is being maintained, and vaccinations are kept up with. I always see a farrier on sight working on the horses’ hooves, they really do a phenomenal job at keeping up with the horses’ health needs. The stalls are so beautiful! They are spacious and well maintained with mats and luscious shavings, giving the horses very nice and soft bedding to lay down in when they please. They’re even roomy enough for some of the 17Hh warmbloods to roll in! The outer stalls all have runs to the outside with mats beneath soft footing that the horses enjoy, and they are always able to come back into their stall if the footing is muddy due to rain or snow, no horse is ever left outside to endure something they do not want to do. When the weather reaches below 40 degrees, the stall doors to the runs are closed for the comfort of the horses. The horses always get turned out in the outdoor paddocks (weather permitting), to enjoy the sun and each others’ company, the staff take great care into who gets along with who when choosing turnout rotations.I would highly recommend Denver Equestrians because they have exactly what anyone would look for in a great facility: good values, facility, trainers, horses, staff, and overall fantastic people.

Denver Equestrians has exceeded my every expectation. I board a very special (they’re all special, right?) horse there and from the first day we have felt right at home. He has a few special needs due to a medical condition and they have been more than accomodating with his needs. Feed is always consistent and of exceptional quality even considering the lack of good quality hay due to draught conditions here in Colorado. Horses almost always have hay in front of them as they feed three times daily both hay and grain plus any supplements you require. Facilities are very well maintained, indoor and outdoor arenas are well manicured, with great footing and almost never dusty. Hot water in the wash racks, and a washer and dryer for smelly horse clothing (huge bonus-no more sneaking into the laundry mat at midnight!) And it is NOT overcrowded with a bunch of kids like I had expected-there are kids but well behaved and managed closely. Staff is very warm and friendly, always greeting my horse and I by name-I routinely joke that my horse thinks he is a pop star with all the attention he recieves at the barn. I can’t say enough about this barn, other than you will not be disappointed!”

I attended the horse camp, and it was amazing! I had so much fun, and I learned a lot at the same time. I have never learned so much about horses and how to ride them, in this short amount of time. I cant wait to go back for another lesson! I had so much fun, and I’m so excited to go back and learn some more! Thanks so much for this experience! 🙂
