We took my son here for his 3rd birthday and were incredibly disappointed. The first 3 arcade games we tried didn’t work and we had to get employee help. One employee actually said, ‘oh, they’re always like this’. We tried more games and at least 3 more didn’t work and 2 never worked at all the entire time we were there. Dust and cobwebs covered the games and equipment. Between and beside the games dirt had accumulated to an embarrassing point. It wasn’t a matter that it hadn’t been cleaned in a week…it was a matter that it hadn’t been cleaned in YEARS.At both ball pits there was a 1.5 foot drop from the end of the slide to the balls. In the toddler ball pint there were only about a dozen balls; it hadn’t been filled in an incredibly long time. The older child ball pit also was extremely low on balls. Both ball pits also had foreign objects in with the balls including socks and loose change. Many of the balls in the older ball pit had been crushed and broken. The fancy ball cleaner was covered in dust and it was obvious that the last time it was used was sometime last decade.Convenient lockers for stowing camera cases, purses, and diaper bags were unavailable, not because they were inaccessible, but because the keys for every single 30+ locker had been lost or misplaced. There were large gaps between the inflatables and the fences, making it unsafe for young children to use the large slide inflatables. The floor was old, dusty, and had no padding. There were long drops from the large 12 ft slides and the slides are extremely fast. The drop to the floor really hurts.Lights were out over the toddler play area, making it hard to see what my toddler was doing and what he was potentially putting into his mouth. The large red cars in the toddler area were missing steering wheel–an integral part to the function of the car.Security seemed lax. As I was leaving, no one checked to make sure that the toddler I was leaving with was really mine and that he belonged to me.Square footage at Playworld is immense, yet there were only 2 employees working. One employee was constantly cleaning, but they seemed to only be cleaning the tables and the entrances to the play areas, not the play areas themselves. The bathrooms, upon first entry, seemed clean and well kept, but when I chose a stall, the first one had feces on it and the other stalls were very low in toilet paper. Despite the wrongness of this facility my children had fun. BUT WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. I am concerned for the safety of other children that use this place and considering how the whole facility was I worry also about the food. I am disappointed that this is where we took my son for his birthday. If I had known it would be like this we would have gone somewhere else.Do not take your children to Playworld, unless they can prove that they have improved the conditions of their facility.

Pretty disappointed, was hoping for more blow up jungle gym type play and a bigger facility. However, for five kids it was only about $25 so you get what you pay for. You can’t go up in the tube playplace to get your kid. No balls in the ballpits. Kids just riding bike things in and out of the tables. Broken arcade games. Dimly lit. Lax security- there is only one entrance to the playplace (good), to exit to the outside you have to go through three doors (good), but only honest people wait to check out with their kid, you could easily scoop a kid up and wait till no one was watching and just beeline out the door. Easily. (BAD!) Not well staffed, but the staff there were very friendly and helpful to my experience (not to other reviewers). Overall impression: If you’re just going to kill an afternoon with your own kids, I’d say go for it, it’s cheap. I would NEVER have a party here and won’t be going again at all.

Absolutely the best experience we have had as a family in a long time…… it was a riot and very responsibly priced

Went to a birthday party there today, the room smelled like urine, and the employees were incredibly rude. They screamed at kids who were going on the slide the wrong way and at a girl who was slightly too tall for it. Wouldn’t it be a little more professional to talk to the kid’s parents or to speak to the girl who was a little too tall instead of screaming at everyone? Also, they brought in the pizza and we asked if there was something we could serve the pizza with, she told us rudely to “use our fingers” and when we stated that the pizza was hot and that we didn’t want to burn our fingers she said “it’s not that hot” and stormed out. I was shocked!!! THEN we left the building without getting our hands checked to make sure we left with our children and our shoes were in the bottom of a barrel with nasty snowy boots on top of them, soaking and making our shoes nasty. It was also pretty gross to have to reach into other people’s shoes to move them out of the way to find ours. Very unsatisfied and will never go back.

We had a “double” birthday party for my son and nephew today, and I happened to read the two reviews saying how terrible it was right before we left. Yikes! My expectations were not high. I, however, was pleasantly surprised. While the staff didn’t necessarily go out of their way to pamper us, everyone was friendly enough and seemed to know what they were doing. The kids had a blast, and the equipment seemed clean. We did end up buying a second cake (the ones they provide aren’t super large, and we had several adults at the party as well) but it was only an extra $12, and the cake was really tasty. I thought the price was reasonable, the kids were able to run off steam, and my house is not trashed as it usually is after hosting a birthday party. I’d go back!
