Where are we going today?

Pinetum Farm hikes are geared towards families and small groups. We are a small town, working farm on the south side of the Mt. Hoyoke range. Hikes with our llamas last about two hours with time included for a stop at our wilderness campsite for cooking and a campfire. While you eat your llamas are tethered inside our environmentally friendly, safe, llama corral. Our llamas will gladly carry your necessities. Families can come and enjoy nature, lunch on the trail, and exerience the special pleasure of hands on hiking with our gentle llamas.

Pinetum Farm is a family-owned, working farm located in Granby, MA. Our mission is to educate the public about the joys of llamas while they enjoy a leisurely hike with their llama hiking companion. Our hikes are appropriate for young and older legs.

Other residents of the farm include goats, ducks, chickens, geese, rabbits, dogs and cats!

Any top tips?

Prices are customized to trip requirements. Appropriate hiking shoes, seasonal or weather appropriate clothing and outerwear, insect repellent, and cameras are encouraged.

I’m Hungry!

Bring your own lunch. Suggestions are any picnic type foods, hot dogs, hamburgers, fruit, chips, soda, etc. We request that you do not bring chicken as it is difficult to safely cook on an open fire. Also, please be sure your food is thawed and ready for cooking. We will provide condiments, ketchup and mustard, and also extra bottled water. **Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
