I started going to the Old Town Amusement park and my kids liked the old style carnival rides starting 3 years ago. This year I went in mid August and bought a bunch of tickets at the workers urging. He stated that you get a discount with more tickets you buy and “they last forever– they will never expire”. I bought more than I could use that night, so I returned the 27th to use the rest. To my surprise as well as a few other people who where suckered the rides were all being dismantled by construction crew and no one from the ride company was present from that point on. I brought it up to Old Town Management Offices who own the property and rents the building. They informed me that they were not associated with them and that the people responsible simply came in that Monday without notice and started to remove the rides and gave no warning or forwarding address. They were also aware that a lot of other people were in my situation but they were not able to help any of us. Really– you have all their property on your land and they have just ripped off and defrauded a bunch of your loyal (repeat) patrons who have been coming here for years, if not for decades, and you can’t do anything!! How about holding onto their property until they address the problem of defrauding your patrons??
