Formerly in Irving, TX, the National Scouting Museum at Philmont Scout Ranch today is a wonderful source for Scouting history, as they preserve, collect, organize, and display a host of Scouting's treasures, documenting the movement's unique influence on American culture and the lives of more than 110 million people.

Be prepared for this trip through memory lane!

The exhibits within the National Scouting Museum preserve the rich century old history, and the important role the Boy Scouts of America have played on youth and families over that time.

The collection includes over 600,000 artifacts, so just imagine the incredible insight into Scouting history you can enjoy!

You can explore camping gear and uniforms, and see how they have changes through the ages, and even learn the history of Philmont Scout Ranch too!

Over 32,000 people visit Philmont Scout Ranch every year, so just imagine how many memories have been brought back as families, parents and children explore the many artifacts and memorabilia that surround them.
