What is there to do?

Horses are beautiful creatures, and it's such a great feeling when you first look into it eyes (if you are an animal lover of course!) and see how gentle natured and beautiful they are.  You gently stroke it's nose, and know that it is comfortable around you, despite any little initial nerves you may have had.  Then, the moment of truth, and you hoist yourself up an onto this shiny animal, who has faith and trust in you.

And there you are - on your first horse!

The Mill-Again Stables Riding Academy offer kids of all ages and experience levels the chance to learn and experience riding a horse.  They ensure they have set up a family-oriented environment for kids to get to understand the horse, and the horse riding experience.

If you are a beginner, they will talk you through everything and work with you at your own pace.  It can be quite nerve racking getting on a horse for the first time - trust us, we know how you feel!  But the moment you overcome it, it's a great feeling!

In addition to classes, they also offer seasonal horse camps where you will not only come away with new friends, but also a few 4 legged friends too!  A very popular and fun experience for kids of all ages.

If you really have taken a shine to horse riding, you can work your way up to a goal of entering competitions, and shows, which the lovely staff with make sure they help in every way of allowing you to achieve that dream - imagine, riding your beautiful horse around the arena with hundreds of people watching - and clapping for you!

Have fun!
