My husband and I went to the show in July of 2014 while we were in Maui for our 35th wedding anniversary. The concierge at our time share shared with us about the Burning Love , Elvis experience. After her recommendation we went. Darren’s performance of Elvis was outstanding his band singers and dancers were top notch. We would suggest to everyone that goes to Mau that they should go even if Elvis isn’t your thing Darren’s show is a 10! We will go again when we go back!

Very expensive, $40-75, and less than 1/3 full theatre, so all got good seats in center section of 3. Hint:low price or high are all good views, unless maybe you want the front row. So, price. As for Understandability, this is an avant garde, modern dance intetpretation of Hawaiians history, with very little or some say “too little” narration explanation. Hint: Highly recommend you read the brochure Before seeing the show, so you are familiar with the main characters. The actual dancing, by “taro”, is amazingly strong and fluid,,, also the “Mo’o” 2 curtain aerialist-actress.I am more of a night luau hula guy, or Polynesian Cultural Center Q n A type. After 90 minutes I was ready to jettison. Some friends-locals recommended it, and some didn’t. I will take the Santa Cruz-Soquel area annual Hula Fest !! Happy Holidays !!
