The Japanese Tea Garden is served by several public transit routes including 44-O’Shaughnessy bus that stops immediately at the Tea Garden, as well as the N-Judah streetcar, 5 and 7 buses.

The Tea House is a beautiful place to stop. Here you can enjoy a meditative cup of tea and sample popular Japanese refreshments which has been designed in a custom-designed irori or farmhouse style family table.
Free admission when entering the gardens between 9am and 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays!
There is a wonderful gift shop! You can pick up authentic Japanese items including tea and sake sets, glazed ceramic bowls and vases, as well as a variety of green teas, and children’s collectibles! The Gift Shop located above the Tea House on the Terrace level.
