Family Ice Center in Falmouth is a great place for kids and parents to enjoy some active time together, whilst enjoying the wonderful sport of ice skating. Did you know that Family Ice Center has the state's only refrigerated outdoor skating surface? Pretty cool!
But don't worry if the weather isn't very appealing - they have indoor skating too, so you can have all year round fun! Why not join in with the open sessions for ice skating - families can skate together and even show off some tricks they just mastered!
Don't worry if you are a beginner, the great thing about ice skating is that it's for any experience level. Parents can take their kids around the rink by hand, and there's that trusty handrail for them to hold onto.
For those more experienced skaters, just move a bit more into the center and off you go! Perhaps you can show off some twirls and spins for everyone else?
If you are a beginner and feel like you would prefer to get some basic moves and techniques under your belt, then why not learn to skate? Family Ice Center holds learn to skate classes, as well as private lessons so you can really feel comfortable out on the ice.
Do you feel the need...the need for speed!? For those who are a little more advanced, you can take on some other types of classes, from speed skating to ice hockey. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing yourself improve with each class and eventually mastering the levels!
The Family Ice Center want to make sure that they have created a healthy, and safe family orientated experience, and they've done a pretty good job!

If you are having a birthday party you can join one of the public sessions! There is even a party room with fun decorations that you can bring - what a fun celebration!
Skating is a great way for kids to stay active! Call the center for info about bringing your class down to get their skates on!
Bring a bottle of water with you and stay hydrated!
You do need to be mobile to skate, but if you do have disabilities, just give them a call and discuss what assistance you need.
