Geocaching is a pretty cool activity, and one that lets the whole family work as a team to solve problems and find clues! It's also not restricted to the great outdoors, as you might think. It's also great for cities!

ExploreWV GeoChallenge is a new group for those who love to geocache, or want to try it for the first time. It's a great way to see the beautiful Mountain State of West Virginia!

ExploreWV will set up various geocaching challenges and trails that the whole family can take part in.

These will take you to parts of the state you may never have experienced, as well as some of the best tourist spots - from historical sites, museums, to the Main Streets. 

ExploreWV GeoChallenge have a number of tours that you can do, with different themes. You can get into the Halloween spirit on the Haunted WV tour, where you get to travel to 20 of the state's SPOOKIEST locations! We're talking cemetaries, prisons, asylums....some of these have even been featured on ghost hunter TV shows! (So definitely not for the smaller kids!)

If you take on this challenge, you have to "collect the ghosts" - sound scary? It just well might be! 

The Main Street challenge is a bit more laid back, and for the younger kids. Here you will to all of the states Main Streets, where you can experience small town charm as you see the entire length of the state! It's almost like bingo how you have to collect your geocaches!

For a bit of sentiment, the first ExploreWV GeoChallenge is the Geocoin Challenge! There are a number of things you have to find to get that limited edition coin!
