About this activity

And the winner is, YOU - yes kids, we are going backstage of the home of the Academy Awards, which happens to be the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, and it's the Dolby Theatre Tours that will get you there.

Formerly the Kodak Theatre, the Dolby Theatre architecture and design is worth a visit in itself, as it was inspired by the elegance of a European opera house, yet features state of the art technical capabilities that can host the most important awards night of the year.

On the behind the scenes tour, you will all experience the elegance and celebrity glamour that the home of the Academy Awards has to offer. You can visit the Dolby Lounge and other celeb hot spots, and see images from previous ceremonies as you hear what it takes to put on such an evening.

Then, you actually get to see a REAL Oscar in person! You never know kids, one day you might be holding your own one!

It's not just the Oscars that calls the Dolby Theatre home, as the venue also hosts other HUGE nights including the American Idol finals, Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and movie premieres (they hosted Star Wars: The Force Awakens), which is pretty impressive!

So get those frocks and suits ready, because you're about to head to one of the most important venues in Tinsel Town!
