There are so many exhibits to choose from, kids can gravitate towards what they find fascinating. At Discovery Cube OC, they can be anyone they want, explore anything they like, and use those imaginations and explore whilst learning which is invaluable!
They can step into the hockey rink with a hockey-based exhibit with multiple interactive activities, or they might want to rev those engines at The Raceway! Here kids can play with toy cars on a large race track whilst learning physics! How cool is that!?
Do you think you might Survive the Bed of Nails? This unusual and challenging exhibit is based on the science of physics, pressure, and yes, force! Kids can lift themselves into the air on a bed of almost 5,000 nails! Whaaaattt!?
Have you ever been in a helicopter? No? Well, you can at Discovery Cube OC! Kids can soar from above as they hop in the helicopter inspired theater as they watch real footage of Orange County’s landfills from an aerial view!
Discovery Cube OC also has something for the little ones in the family. Those toddlers can visit a child-sized rainforest as they discover the web of life on a tree house, hot-air balloon simulator, and more!

Stop on by to the Bean Sprouts which offers delicious, healthy food while keeping young visitors in mind. Their low “Imaginibbles™ kids’ counter” allows children to take advantage of a picture menu when choosing their meal!
Grownups can also enjoy their tempting sandwiches and salads, as well as organic espresso!
Depending on the size, age, and engagement of your group, visits can last anywhere between 2 hours to 5 hours. The average visit is around 3 hours!

Why not treat your class to a Discovery Cube field trip! Their super fun field trip program offers guests a way to explore, discover and practice scientific process skills through hands-on exhibits, investigations, and immersive experience.
The structured field trip is a two hour and ten minute experience that includes a grade based science demonstration. Educators get free entry to the science center. Must provide school ID or copy of paystub for verification in person.
