About this activity

Dillon State Park is 2,285 acres of outdoor adventure, with a host of fun activities for the kids to enjoy too! If you love the great outdoors and getting out into nature, Dillon State Park is what you need with the wooded hills and scenic valleys offering a picturesque setting for your next family day out.

Are you excited to hear what you can enjoy at Dillon State Park? Well, how about we start with boating! Boating with unlimited horsepower is permitted on the 1,560 acres of Dillon Lake.

If you want to challenge yourselves on the stand up paddle boards, or take to the water on canoes or kayaks, you can rent them from the Campground store.

Fishing is a popular activity with crappie, catfish and bluegill just some of the species that live in the waters. You will need a valid Ohio fishing license for that.

You can test those coordination skills on the archery range, or head to the Woodchuck Ridge Disc Golf Course featuring 18 holes, perfect for all experience levels.

Did someone say swimming? You're in luck, because Dillon State Park features a 1,360-foot swimming beach and separate wading pool, perfect for those warmer days!

Hiking, multi use and wooded bridle trails are also available, so grab those hiking boots, we're going exploring!

With cottages and camping also within the park, and winter sledding and ice pond fun things to do in the colder months,  it seems there is every reason to head out into the beautiful Ohio countryside!
