The Delaware Art Museum is all about celebrating the art world, and for those older creative kids, it could prove to be a wonderful way for them to be inspired!
This popular Delaware museum is particularly known for it's collection of British Pre-Raphaelite art, but there is a wide range to explore so something for everyone's taste.
The rest of the collections cover fascinating subjects, including Howard Pyle, American Illustration, and even 19th century American Art. It's not just an art museum. It's a walk through the history books.
Kids' Corner is a space just for smaller folk where they can touch and interact with the art on the walls and make some of their own.
The exhibitions within the Delaware Art Museum are traveling, which means you need to make sure you catch what interests you before it leaves! However, that also means that there can always be something new and amazing for you to experience on your next visit.
Because they are changing exhibits, they offer the community an opportunity to become familiar with a wide variety of artists and artistic movements, which is invaluable.
The Museum also displays smaller exhibitions, often assembled from its permanent collection, to complement larger shows or to bring select works to light.
So why not enter the wonderful world of art, where kids can be inspired, families can surround themselves with masterpieces and your next family day out can be a creative one!
