Darien Lake is a super family friendly, and super fun, family theme park in New York State. There is a HUGE selection of rides for all ages, and each ride falls into a category - thrill, family, kid, or water. So you will always be able to find something that really suits you!
Why don't we start with the thrill rides! Are you brave enough to take on the 7-story steel loop of the Rolling Thunder? Perhaps your stomach might be able to take the adrenaline filled wooden roller coaster of The Predator. Want to hear a fun fact? This is actually the TALLEST wooden coaster drop in the whole state! Eeek!
If you're feeling REALLY brave, then you might want to head to the Ride of Steel. This 208 high ride is one of the TALLEST coasters in the entire state of New York, and there are three hills that you will take on faster than 75mph. Scary stuff!
Need cooling off after your adventure? The three water rides might be just what you need. You can enjoy some family time in the raft taking on the rapids, or slide right into Shipwreck falls or Thunder Rapids. Don't forget about the entire waterpark of Splashtown to cool you down!
For those little ones in the family, it's not all thrills and spills. Kids can spin into a fun dizzy in some mud buckets, or take a ride on the fun railway. If they want to try a coaster, there is the fun Hoot N Holler which is a cute mini coaster just for them.
Trucks, balloons, whirls and twirls....it's all there to be enjoyed!
