Showcases the story of aviation history. In addition to a replica of the Wright Flyer, the museum displays military and civilian aircraft from 1928 to the present. There are exhibits, narratives, uniforms, memorabilia, paintings, photographs and a gift shop.
From the downtown area of Minot, take Highway 83 (Broadway) north until you come to the Minot International Airport. Continue alongside the airports security fence until the fence comes to an end at 34th Avenue. Turn right and go almost three tenths of a mile. The first and only driveway on the right is the entrance into the museum's parking lot.

We have a lounge area that is a great place to relax and take care of babies and children.
There are both fast food and nice restaurants within a mile of the museum. Most food places are very close.
We have a gift shop where we sell model airplanes (die cast assembled models and plastic models that are easy to assemble); caps, pins, books, DVD's, videos, t-shirts, polo shirts, windshirts and wind jackets. The garments come with the museum's logo.
We are a great place for students. We offer guided tours that center around the Wright Flyer. School groups set up appointments in the spring and continue into the summer. We are open for appointments during the off-season too. The museum is a great place to get students interested in aviation history and the regions role in that history. It is a great place to picnic, to take group photos and to watch the airplanes take off and land at the Minot International Airport.
