What is there to do?

It's at the Clearwater Historical Museum that you can visit to see collections that focus on the people and history of Clearwater River Country, and it's surrounding regions including Clearwater County and parts of Lewis, Nez Perce, Idaho and Shoshone counties.

There is so much rich history in the region, so it makes sense there is a museum dedicated to it!

The goal of the Clearwater Historical Museum is to share the rich legacy of Clearwater River drainage rich that started long before history was recorded.

Throughout the museum there are artifacts relating to a range of historical events and people, including the Nez Perce People, and of course the famous Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Kids can learn all about gold mining back in the day, and discover what life was like via early homesteading exhibits, as well as farming, logging and so much more.

A charming museum that uncovers the incredible history of the region - who knew there was so much that happened RIGHT under your feet?

How much does it cost?

Adults: Free as far as we can tell

Children: Same as adult
