You see, there are over 200 animals at Chahinkapa Zoo, and the zoo is committed to providing clean and green natural habitats for its animal residents, which means you have a host of very happy animals on your hands!

Chahinkapa Zoo has over 200 animals and birds of 70 different species that you can explore, discover, and learn about on your next family day out. Kids, can you guess some of the animals you might be meeting on your next visit? How about those iconic creatures the bison, or those cheeky otters who love to hold hands?

Have you ever heard of a fossa? Well, if you haven't, we know a good place to go and find out!

There are elk, llamas, cougars, grizzly bears, zebra, monkeys, gibbon....phew, that's a lot of animals! We didn't even start to talk about the snow leopards and the Bengal Tigers.

Chahinkapa Zoo also have fun events across the year, which you might want to put in your diary! Did you ever think you would be playing zombie paintball in a zoo? Now you can! There are members picnics, Blue Goose Days, wild game shows and those Halloween treats!

Did we mention that the zoo also has a fun carousel that you can enjoy too? A fun way that kids can add more fun to their day!

They are committed to giving the animals a green and natural environment to live in, to ensure they are happy and healthy

In the gift shop, they have grab-and-go snacks so you can fill up.

They have classes that you can join which are a great learning experience! They have different seasonal classes, as well as adult and family ones too! Kids can even learn to be a junior zoo keeper

What a fun place for a field trip! Just give them a call to arrange that great educational and WILD day out!

Make sure to bring plenty of water!
