Get ready for a WILD family day out in sunny Florida at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens!

Nestled in lush tropical foliage, this popular zoo and garden experience is home to over 150 species of animals, and features around 23 acres of native gardens. If you love nature, then you are in luck!

Did you know that the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens opened with just 38 animals back in 1975? Today, there are over 400 animals!

Kids can enjoy hands-on fun in the Barnyard Buddies Children's Zoo, where domestic animals such as pygmy goats, llamas, roosters and alpacas. They can even feed them too!

You can get up close with venomous snakes and non-venomous reptiles in the Herpetarium, or they can learn all about animal care during one of the zoos exciting Keeper Chats.

Make sure you add the giraffe feeding to your day, which happens at 10am - 3pm on the weekends, or touch and feel their one-horned rhino during their special rhino encounters.

In addition to the beautiful animals that you can see at the zoo, kids can also enjoy unique animal encounters which are great to aid their learning experience.

But it's not just animals at the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens either! They can enjoy rides on the train and carousel, or get active with ZOOM Air Adventures.
