What is there to do?

Did you know that the Cartoon Art Museum is the ONLY museum in western US that's dedicated to the preservation and exhibition of cartoon art in all its forms? And now, YOU get to visit and see all the cool exhibits inside!

This unique institution houses approximately 6,000 original pieces in its permanent collection, as well as showcases temporary exhibits across the year, so you can enjoy even more cartoon and art fun!

You can see a whole range of history, artifacts and of course art, at the Cartoon Art Museum. Kids can see where it all began, with some of the earliest hand-drawn cartoons. Have you ever wondered how cartoons are created? This is the place to find out!

Love comics? Learn all about them at this colorful and creative museum, and you never know, it might just inspire you to create your own when you get back home!

The museum feature various artists and their work, and kids can be introduced to a range of art forms, and not just paintings, as they might think "art" is.

If you ARE inspired, check out the programs, camps and classes that the museum offer, where you can learn drawing and cartooning skills, story writing, and so much more to get those creative juices flowing!

Adults: $10

Children: $4 (Ages 6 to 12)

Discount: San Francisco residents, students, military, & senior discounts. Free for members.

11am - 5pm daily (except Wednesdays)

Closed Wednesdays, plus New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, & Christmas Day
