About this activity

It's always great to find a place where kids can not only have a great and creative time, but also a place where they can learn and develop! Children ages 6 months to 10 years can enjoy three floors of hands-on cultural and science programs at the Brooklyn Children's Museum, a pioneer in children's education, because it was actually founded all the way back in 1899 . JUST for the sole purpose of giving kids a place and learn and play! How amazing is that!?

Since then, over 300 children's museum have popped up all around the world. You're welcome!

Brooklyn Children's Museum has award-winning and hands-on exhibits which are unique and innovative, and give kids a chance to use their imagination, create, experiment and develop in the capacity they need to.

From those little ones to the older kids in the family, there are exhibits for them. Each one is a learning adventure.

Kids can make pizza in the fun pizza parlor, or go shopping in the grocery store. They can even pretend they are enjoying a day at the beach with the very cool blue sand! There are fun animal exhibits to introduce kids to the creatures that we have across the world, and there is fun water play for those kids who like to be a bit...cool!

Love nature? Then why not explore the nature space and garden? If you have readers in the family then you might want to consider the library too!

Did you know that this is the only children's museum in the city, and one of the few in the country, that has been accredited by the American Association of Museums? Yep! It's a pretty special place, so why don't you check it out!
