Where are we going today?

Get ready for some water fun - Barnacle Bill's Water Park is here!  Not to be confused with Buffalo Bill (although we're sure he would love to have visited given all that Wild West heat....)

Set in the Coast Inn and Suites Hotel in the aptly named Waveland in Mississippi, Barnacle Bills water park is a place for kids and parents alike to relax, cool down, splash about and have fun together, with two thrilling and winding waterslides to slide down, the good old lazy river for those less adventurous swimmers who just want to take their time floating and soaking up the sun and the atmosphere.

There is also a fun kiddie pool for the little ones who might want to get away from the big kids for a little bit and have some time on their own, and a MASSIVE pirate ship complete with...wait for it...water cannons! That's pretty cool!

Water fun everywhere!  It's a great time during those summer months to feel refreshed and stay active.

Arrrr me harties there is even an 18 hole pirate themed putt putt course if you want to stay dry for a while!  Challenge yourself and try and beat the par set on every hole - the more you play the more you will notice yourself getting better!

There are snacks available for you to enjoy, tables to enjoy them at, and even cabanas to enjoy some shade on a first come first served basis.

So get ready for some splashing times out with Barnacle Bill - because there is water fun to be had by the whole family on your Mississippi day out! Soak up that Southern charm!

Any top tips?

There is a very cool and rare wooden keel shrimp boat that was built in the early 1950s that you can have a look at!
